Re: The long road home
I took something like that (well, it wasn't like that but had the same elements in it) when I was in France last year. But I couldn't get the image I envisioned out of it, so eventually it was dumped.
You've shown me ideas of how it could have been presented. I think this shows wonderful imagination in respect of how a finished image can look. I probably would never have thought of something like this.

Re: The long road home
Hi Sharon,
Well that got a "Whoa, that's nice!" when I scrolled back up the thread.
As Donald, without seeing this, I doubt I'd have thought of it, now I have, perhaps I'll be inspired when such an opportunity presents.
Thanks,

Re: The long road home
Sepia-ish toning is a nice touch, but I think the exposure lacks, especially in the middle of the two trees and in the foreground fence line. I'd like to see these parts fleshed out in a manner that would enhance the whole image rather than just a few select parts. I find my eye is drawn to too many accent points in an almost scattered manner instead of following a nice roadway to an ending point. Perhaps my eye is not as discerning as some others on this forum. Quien sabe.
