Here is a pic which may be of interest to you. It is our Mouse spider. Sorry that it is not the best of pix. They are very shy and rarely seen. In my 73 years this is the first and only one I have ever seen. I was quite excited to see it.
Though you can't see them it is equipped with a very decent set of fangs up front. He was roughly between 2 to 2.5 cm in length. I have read that its venom is pretty toxic.

Yes, our UK Mouse Spiders are literally mouse coloured. But smaller and totally safe.
