    You can say that again! lol We will practice together through the Spring. I shoot few flowers and such but while out chasing birds I sometimes can't help myself. I have yet to break down and buy a macro lens and make do with my 70-400 as it seems to work fairly nicely for close ups. A touch more DOF I think would have helped you here, but thats a personal preference thing to a point. I need to start useing the tripod I think. It will force me to pay more attention to composition. Seems to be what trips me up with flowers.

    They look to have a significant focusing issue.
