That is first class, I give up. All the photos to date are excellent, but your #2 is magnificent, excellent, nice colouring and nice and sharp with first class composition. Joe you are the type of person who makes me feel I should confess all my photographic sins and go in to monastry somewhere. This is the type of photo I dream about.
Kind regards
Delboy
Thank you so much Delboy. I am very fortunate that Florida has so many areas to preserve nature within a couple hours drive from my house. The photographs in the grouping you speak of were taken at Black Point Wildlife Drive on Merritt Island, part of the land set aside when Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral) was built. I make a lot of images in a day shooting and pick the best, then post process in Adobe Lightroom. Most is the luck of being in the right spot at the right time, which having a lot of time to devote to photography allows. Once again thanks for your kind words.
Nice shots Bobo. We have Cattle Egrets in Florida but the tan neck color is less pronounced, just a tiny little bit of tan on the top of the head otherwise the bird is white.
Yes, this one here is the Asian variety.
We do not have any pale or otherwise up here though.![]()
We're so fortunate to live on a planet with so many beautiful different types of birds.
Whole lot of really great shots already. Keep 'em coming...
