    Townscape

Actually I saw a close up of the silo's on the left was attractive but wanted to show the town surrounded by industry. Could have had some Kazakhstan style pipes in view but there are limits to bad taste.

I normally take the wrong lens, can't carry two and so I ortonised these views of the town to try and make the distracting obstuctions less prominent.

That is a really good set of townscapes, Steve.

I think you've made constructive use of the Orton effect in those to which you've applied it and I particularly like the fact that you haven't gone for sweeping vistas bit have closed in on small but interesting parts of the townscape and highlighted those. Often that can tell us so much more about a place than the grand vista.

An enjoyable set to pause and take time to view.
