    Unintentional tattoo

Some local people having a break; everything was wrong with this but I was able to pull 3 stops overexposure back in ACR and found auto white balance very useful in PSE10. I had a grey card reading for a different direction.

I was taking some pics of the local area frustrated by street furniture and the wrong lens, when I got the attention of some people; they wanted their photo taken but were unwilling to wait while I took the exposure and I chose 800 iso too late.

    But I like the tattoo.

Spose being there helped; I thought I had to throw away but even pulling back 3 stops and 100% recovery I noticed detail in highlights.
These took me by surprise, there was half a dozen of them, so I thought it might not be a good idea to ask for a pose since it took some time to choose the iso, but I could have got away with 1/4 iso, can't understand how I got it so wrong.

It also shows CA on this brilliant L type lens, if I had my Tamron I wouldn't even have been there. I took the photo then skidaddled before they noticed.

On processing I thought it was interesting; especially the tattoo.

Brian, you were not the only one.

Nice work on the image Steve. I'd never imagined it was so overexposed. I also like the frame.

I can see what you mean now; cheers Tono. What would have been good was if I was brave and asked the girl and boy to pose, the boy slightly in front of the girl and the girls arm around his kneck and looking at the camera.

But I don't know these and I already attracted the attention of a crowd asking questions about newspapers.

    Unintentional tattoo

yep; definitely 3 stops over, so useful info for later.
