    Foggy surprise

It was a sunny, beautiful warm day, here, so I drove the 40 miles to the ocean and Assateague Wildlife preserve, and before I drove 10 miles from my home, I ran into a wall of fog....but took a few shots anyway....

This is a fine photo, very much to my liking. I might have cropped in a bit from the right cutting into the trees to give the impression of continuity of the trees. At first I thought that maybe cropping in at the top and bottom might be better - but the more I look at the photo the better I like it the way it is - except the right end.

It is an excellent shot. Ludwig has a point but to me it is fine either way.

That's a very nice atmospheric shot. The shot has been well exposed and gives us that sense of stillness and silence that we so often associate with foggy conditions.
