Great shot. Up close and personal. Moving further back and taking in more of the vehicle would not have had the impact for me that this one does. Well done Antonio. Muito Bem.

    Re: On the bus

I was travelling in a tourist bus as this one stopped nearby and there I was with my camera to take their pictures.
What impresses me in India is that almost everybody has a very strong face.
Everywhere you turn - if you see and not only look - you will find interesting faces to photograph.

I think that it still is possible to make photography this way. Soon they will have enough... and then: stop.

In fact there was somebody else on top of the bus. Of course

They travel in the most dangerous conditions.

It is a not like a Trent Barton Red Arrow bus (Air conditioned with leather seats and tables, no standing); more like an Arriva bus or National Rail. You will not catch me in that thing.

Guess which one makes a profit.

Very nice capture. The focus is spot on. I also like the feeling conveyed by the photo. At times, I think we concentrate so much on the technical aspect of the photo we forget about what impact the photo can convey.. Very well done

The picture is not in perfect focus Alain. It looks like but it is not a perfect focused photo.

That is a good point Alain. I mean the second part of your statement. This is one of the reasons I am not intending - so far - to change neither my cameras nor my software unless a big jump is possible.

If we have a look now at CS6 we can see that it is even possible to focus un-focused photographs. The meaning of an image is not only technical but mainly the impact it can convey.

In my local weakly meeting of 5 photographers I was saying so last week.

I have not photographed enough of these images when I've been to India and I am sorry for that.

I have to tell you Antonio that i like this last one better. All four people have a more relaxed expression in their faces. Almost content. In fact the guy at the left is almost happy. I'm also amazed that all of them are looking at you. A very enjoyable image =)
