A bit less common than the Black-capped Chickadee. Sometimes things just line up and you get lucky.I was in the middle of a job and went to the truck to grab something, just then the snow stopped and the sun started to peak out and this little guy started chearping away. Got off a couple shots before he said see ya!

Nice shot paul, but a very distinct green(maybe yellow as well) color cast to this.

Steve are you by chance seeing it on the branch? I zoomed through some new sprouts and the did not fully disapear. I don't see it on the bird. Do you? The rest is most definetly green and yellow naturally.
I took another look...most of what I zoomed through is gone, are you sure it is not just the moss and algea that we have here this time of year...it turns everything green. lol I am just having trouble spotting it.

Color casts are sometimes hard to spot, and muddy your colors. My personal preference is an neutral to slightly cool image, to make my colors pop.

Compair it to the one i posted and you tell me. To correct the cast, adjust the levels of the individual color channels.(RGB) Leave the blending mode to normal and just adjust the black and white points of each channel and you will have a fairly neutral image.

I have little intrest in doing my own printing!
For now at least. The printers I use have a pretty good handle on it and have not yet failed me. Although I have given it some thought, maybe down the road.
