Images taken at one of my favourite haunts, Lake Somerset, Queensland. I think it was something like a 90 second exposure @ 400 ISO & F14.
    Cheers........Edwin.

Cool. A little post-appocalipse-ish. Right out of Road Warrior.

    Very nice, moody shot Edwin.

Not that it matters, but I like the bottom one.

I might be tempted to clone out the man-made lights on the right hand side just above the water line.

Beautiful. The differences are subtle but I like the second one best too. The placement of the reflection seems better and that extra bit of brightness and shimmer on the water makes it for me. Agree about the man made lights (even if it would have taken me awhile to notice before they were pointed out )

    There's that place again !!

Nice one Edwin, what a great idea. I also think the second looks better.

What time of night were you crawling around the bush ?

Here's the bottom image again Terry, this time with the man made lights cropped out. I also made it larger, so you can see more detail, hope you like this one.
    Cheers.........Edwin.

It was somewhere near 10pm Dave, when I had the crazy notion to try my luck at taking some moonrise shots over the lake.
It's the first time I've attempted doing something like that & certainly won't be the last. perhaps next time I'll try some AEB. Thank's to everyone else for your comments, any new ideas of how to improve on this type of imagery would be much appreciated.
    Cheers.........Edwin.

    Superbly conceived image, Edwin.

I think the second one has a better distribution of light across the frame.

    Striking.

I think the use of AEB will make the picture look even better, because you can reduce the noise without loosing image details. But be quick because of the moon's movement. Nevertheless great shot.
