    Re: Balloon

Hi Jeff, wow, it is really great to be able to shoot a ballon like this from above. Nice vision! It looks like you may have some dust bunnies showing up in the sky - might want to see if the lens or sensor needs to be cleaned. The spots in the image should be easy enough to clone out in post processing.

Very nice picture. Agree with the dust bunnies and I think a blue sky would make it perfect.

    Re: Balloon

My first thoughts were that those little spots in the top left sky were other distant balloons as they don't look like the common dust spots. Either way, I agree with zapping them.

    Another perfect photo.

    Re: Balloon

Thanks for heads up. The D700 has a habit of spraying oli on the sensor at regular intervals ! I thought I'd got all of these out but missed a few.

Thanks to all for the feedback.

    Re: Balloon

What a lovely image! Actually some of the best images of balloons are shot from above with the terrain as a backdrop rather than shot from below with just the sky as a backdrop. Of course that requires a high vantage point.

If I ever visit the Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA International Balloon Fiesta again ( http://rpcrowe.smugmug.com/Travel/AL...523400&k=TtRfP ); I am going to pay for a ride on a balloon and be able to shoot the other balloons from above...

Great image. I really like the vantage point. Makes me wonder about possible vantage points around here as we have balloons almost every weekend in the summer.

Beautiful shot. Wish we had that kind of unspoiled scenery around these parts.

Great job, just wondering if you had played with some cropping . I see some great variations on original . WoW keep up the good work.
