    Lake walk

The other day when out taking pics of pigeons and ducks, this couple walked right onto to the frozen lake though the sign said "thin ice". The angle looked good so snapped off 1 shot of them walking away from the shore. A while later saw them returning and snapped another. The ice held!!

Each was similarly processed, cropped and joined.

Made 2 versions, one bluish toned the other b&w.

    Comments gratefully received.

Really cool Bobo - and I'm not just referring to the temperature !!

I think I prefer the first colour.

Looks like an image you would see on a greeting card, or thinking of you card. I like them.

Nice work Bobo. I like the second better, the color of the snow is more realistic. In the first I think the camera was underexposing to turn the snow 18% gray. I run into the same thing here in Florida with the white sand beaches.

Thanks Joe, yes snow is like a sandy beach or a white heron/egret - very hard.

Thanks Bob - you gave me an idea and this was the result (just a quick run so not all that great looking).

Prefer this one overall as I think the images can stand alone. Nice shots.
