    Hey all

Two versions of same image, one with surrounding grass cloned out, and the other left intact. Would be very interested in your preference (and any other thoughts and suggestions as well)
    thanks for viewing

Impressive shots! Took me a while to understand what I am looking at
    I like "With" better also.

Will go with the crowd : with. But I do like the without.

With. I think the extra grass brings some contact back to the leaves, and makes the photo look a little less 'posed'. If that makes any sense. I have been on a rambling rampage today it seems.

With for me. I like the way the space is used better in #1.

I am with the with crowd, without leaves too much empty space for my eye

Thank you all. That confirms my "evolution" of thought. Initially I liked the cleanness of the first rendering, but eventually felt I'd left it too naked and sterile feeling. Thanks for the feedback

    Hi Kevin,

    Let's 'evolute' a bit further ...

I think with this, I would have limited myself to only touching the ones that hit the edges of frame; cloning out all or part (i.e.shortening some).

    Fancy doing a third version?

    Cheers,

For me, neither one nor the other ! I am sorry Kevin. Will you excuse me ?

The white has no detail at all. Well, at least in my monitor... Is that the goal ? Snow without detail ?

    The third version may be...

I see a very saturated image and the white of the snow looks more like the page than snow. I would love to see if you can save some of the snow.
