    Evening beach scene

    Took this last month, not sure if it's a good shot but i love the colours.

    I think it's a very good shot. The rule-of-thirds principle has been applied well in the composition of the final image. I think the exposure has been handled very well, giving the image a real mood and atmosphere. That top of that 'thing' (technical term) on top of the post just sits nicely on the line between the water and the land - gives a nice balance that wouldn't have existed if it was intruding half-way up the hillside.

    That will be a Groyne Marker, stops boats crashing into the groyne at high tide.

    I think when boats start crashing into the groin, it's high time to get out of the water. (Sorry, I don't know why my mind keeps doing stuff like this.)

    Great shot, though. I'm glad you kept a safe distance from the water and those killer boats.
