    Band Stand

What's going on?! Two posts in as many minutes?!

Anyways... Here's a shot of the bandstand on Hampstead heath. No doubt been captured billions of times before! But meh...

As always, C&C greatly appreciated. Thanks for viewing

I like it, the melting snow and pink sky, touches of green grass give it a "Spring is coming" soon feel. But the London backdrop does nothing but pull my eyes away from the band stand.

In this case, I think the muted tones actually work well.,

I agree that that is its strength. That is a very pleasant image, Tommy. You've also got the made an excellent job of getting the detail on the wrought-iron work.

    Hi Tommy,
I like the picture and actually enjoyed picking out the London landmarks in the background. It's funny how we all like different things in a picture, but then it would be boring if we all liked the same things.
I enjoyed looking, thanks for sharing.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I really do not take enough photos of London, preferring to photograph landscapes when I go home to Wales. Well I ain't gonna be living here forever so I'm going to make a concerted effort to photograph our capital a bit more!
