    St Michael's Mount at Dawn

    Another from my Cornish Trip.

An early morning view of the of this iconic Cornish Castle at Marazion in West Cornwall. The tide is out exposing the colourful winding stone causeway.

I was hoping for a glorious sunrise, but that came the following day when I was on the other side of the peninsular.

The causeway gives us a lovely line into the picture, Chris. But, in their own right, the colours on the walkway are super.

The only thing I'd wonder about changing? That person with the yellow jacket walking across the beach - Clone him out? The jacket is a bit of an attention-grabber.

It has certainly been mostly dreary weather in the south west so far this year. I haven't even considered any landscape shots. Even when the light has been slightly improved there has been a lot of moisture in the air.

Spent this morning taking a few 'working shots' inside a fisherman's store so that I will have at least one photo in reserve for Project 52, week 5.

Nice shot Chris. I like the composition and the colour tones. Clicking on Lightbox really brings it to life as you can see so much more detail.

    Chris,

the title might be Don't Look At This Without Lightbox: It's a very different experience, and altogether excellent
