    Equine photography

Since one of my favorite animals of all time is the horse, I find myself photographing them quite often. I thought I might share a few of my favorite images I've taken over the years.

Please feel free to comment and critique. I'm always looking for ways to improve!

    Kim,

Very nice images. I like the perspective or angle of view, especially in the first and last image.

Fantastic shots Kim. I especially love 3 and 4. When I scrolled down and saw 3 I stopped scrolling and had to stop and admire for a bit. What a wonderful looking pair. To get such great shots under these conditions is very well done. I don't know what you use for editing, but I wonder if the last 2 might benifit from a bit of fill light and perhaps just a tad brighter.

Welcome to CiC, and I'll certainly be watching for more of your shots horses or otherwise, but I do love horses.

All good shots that show off the majesty of the horse.
3 and 4 great action shots - 3 in particular.

Lovely photos... the Friesian is lovely, beautiful feel of motion in the photo. Though yes, I wonder if a little fill light might bring out some more details. Though black horse, indoors, moving fast... you've done exceptionally well to get the great capture that you have!
