    Water Drops

    Hello,

This is one of my older photos, after managing to scrub my drive that held all my photos and then doing a recovery, of sorts, I was going through what I had. This is one of my first tries using the close up lens attachments that I have. I think it was using the kit 18-55mm. I really like photos of water drops and thought I would share one of my efforts.

    Cheers

I like the way you managed to capture the shapes of those water droplets. The droplet on top right though has a blown highlight which is very distracting. Not sure if you can bring down the exposure at that spot or clone it out but I think it would make all the difference to this photo.

Agree with Mal...love how those orbs seem improbably round.

    Hey Mal and Sharon,
Thank you for the feedback. I had a go at fixing the bright spot using Gimp, I think it turned out ok, not perfect. I have also put up another shot I took on the same day, this one reminded me of peas in a pod.

    Cheers

You did a good job with that first one. I prefer it to the second one as I think the light catches those water droplets better to highlight them in the photo.
