    Panorama of Florence

This panorama was made from 3 shots stitched together. The shots were taken some time ago but it was only recently that I realised that they might stitch together quite well. The colours are also, I think, fairly realistic.

Well known landmarks such as Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Duomo can be seen from left to right.

Nice job on the pano stitching, Dave, and as others have said, a great image. If you want to take it further, you could look into reducing the noise in just the sky. Owing to the fantastic detail in the rest of the image, if there is noise there it is not noticeable.

What a beautiful city. You did great with the stitching. I agree about maybe working on the noise in the sky....if this is printed in any large size, it would be more noticeable....but I think you can isolate the sky and fix it easily.

    Re: Panorama of Florence

Thank you Frank, Nat and Bobo. I will have a go at reducing the sky noise as suggested. I'm not sure whether it's haze or noise or both.
