An Eagle a Flag and Clouds

This is different for me. It's a collage created by combining three images. None of the individual images are particularly good but when combined they create something interesting with a bit of a patriotic (USA) feel. I had ignored the eagle image for a few years because it's not as sharp as it could be as it was taken hand held with 400 mm at some distance. The end product is more like a poster than a fine art image but it was a fun project. It's a reminder that when we photographers are out and about with our cameras we should consider shooting interesting things with the idea that while they may not make a good individual shot, the image or some element of it might be useful in another context.

That's really good piece of work, Chuck. As you say, you've taken 3 'ordinary' pictures and turned them into a very powerful poster image.
