Beautiful capture of the flamingos in flight, Diane!

I have seen them flying between Bonaire and Venezuela, a distance over the ocean of about 25 miles, but I was too far away to get any pictures. I did locate a video, however, showing what I had seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or0ZnBQ4ZvA

    Nice close-ups!

Nice capture Diane! It does look as if the sharpening has been a bit overdone,
as the flamingo's seem to have some artifacts around their bodies. Have you tried
backing down the sharpening a bit, then adding a bit of Luminance to smooth it
    all out?

I think part of this slight problem has been caused by shooting against a bright sky. But still impressive.

Your right Mike I can see that I was heavy handed with the sharpening. Here is the original.

I too thought the fact that they fly was a myth along with bringing babies to mommies when kids are "born" Naw... you just about never see them flying like this, only short hops from one part of the lake to another!
