Eventually decided to photograph a stile with the poppies as a background.
Tried a few settings and eventually found using flash at the high speed setting was looking interesting. I needed a fairly high shutter speed because the poppies and grasses were blowing around in the wind.
7D with 24-105 L lens, 1/400, F11, Iso 400. On tripod.
On reflection, I framed some shots a little too closely and would have preferred a little more cropping options on some of my shots. I think this one was the best angle, although possibly showing a little more at the bottom would have been better.
Following a suggestion from Donald, I have slightly reworked this shot with a little bit of selective LCE on the foreground.
