The Nephew - Part 2

Well, the planned photoshoot on Christmas day was delayed due to my sister's children being in really bad moods before they arrived at our parent's place. I decided to keep the camera close by and take a few shots whenever I caught Jacob smiling.

I tried to focus on getting him more engaged this time - still a tough challenge, as well as trying to catch a bit more light in his eyes as everyone previously suggested. Here's a few of the ones I like - or are at least different to the first set.

Malcolm, nice job! I have 4 nephews and 4 nieces and I really know that is not easy to take picture of them!
I like #3 most, it is really beautiful!
unfortunately, on #1 and #2 the focus point is on his ear instead on his eyes...

Ah - thanks for picking that up - I missed that completely. It's definitely something I'll have to be mindful of in the future!

I like No. 3 the best.
Picture No. 1 is a great shot; but IMHO it should have had a little more space on the right-hand side; to show his complete head, it feels a little tight to me.

Thanks John. I'll check to see if #1 has more space- Jacob tends to have messy hair a lot so I might gave cropped tight to cover up loose stands. Me being to lazy to clone them out
