    Charleston Falls

    After the recent rains in Southwestern Ohio this week, Charleston Falls which is usually a very small waterfall was really flowing this week.

    NICE!!! Love the composition. As I look at this photo I see so many points of view from where I would want to shoot, and I can imagine myself spending a lot of time here.

    Definitely on my list to visit, now. I'm in Central Ohio and had not heard of this one! Beautiful....

    Nice! Lots of interesting things to look at. For some reason I want to look down and see where the edge of the bank is! Or maybe I'm feeling like I'm too close to the edge and may fall. Isn't that a strange emotion to get from a photo?

    Re: Charleston Falls

    Hi Don,

    That's a great place and like Wendy, I'd love to shoot there.

    It is a great composition but there are two things about it I'd change;
    a) for my taste, it looks just a little too 'tone mapped'
    b) given the intricate detail in the image, I'm not sure it needs such a complex frame - however, it is possible I'd change my mind on this if I saw it without or with a different frame

    I can see what Bobo and Frank mean, but whether a foreground would help is another thing I'd like to see before committing

    Cheers,
