City Centre - Toronto (Nathan Phillips Square)

Camera club had an outing last week and here are a couple of my favourites.
First one is ye olde zoom burst. A bit trite perhaps, but I like it.
Second one is an attempt at social commentary. Photo shows Toronto City Hall, current mayor is rather fat and I liked the juxtaposition of the snack bar and the city hall.

Both are nice Graham, but I love the colors in the second.

Talk about mixed light sources.
As you can see, the green base is flourescent, the blue is gelled light (I suspect), lights at the top of the buildings are tungsten. The snacks sign is actually light with off camera flash manually operated (3 flashes at full power, 58gn).
PLUS the sodium vapour lighting the sky as well.
No point trying to balance WB .

Very nice shots of the city to the west of me, again very nice, however you seem to have to like to link funny things to fat people for a bit of a laught. Me thinks you have two problems, for one look in the mirror , and the other is me, but you can take a nice picture, so I guess that makes up for some things. From one who was once 365 lbs. and with very hard work, now 235 lbs playing weight. Fat jokes I do not fine all that funny at all.

One of my favorite areas of the city. Nice captures. I was looking for the fat mayor but he's kind of short isn't he, so I probably only saw the top of his head.

Nice shots Graham, I really like them. The only thing that bothers me a little is that "washroom" sign at the bottom of number 2. But what can you do? It was there right! Good job!
