    Trip to the Zoo

    Gonna make a proper thread here. Hope I include the right Exif Data you people like

    I just cropped these pics from a trip to the Zoo a few weeks back, it was my first time shooting with mt Rebel Xsi, but critisism is welcome.

    1. Goatee Goat -
    Shutter Speed 1/250 sec, f/10, ISO 200, Focal Length 96mm

    Hope this is a better post, and settings were pretty much auto i think for these.

    Hi Bill - I like the goat shots and soggy grizzly. Especially like no 4 as it is also nice and sharp, which the others unfortunately are not. If you are not already, suggest for animal pics you set single point focus at the centre and aim for the eye (or even better something else with a sharp edge as focus beam warns them)

    Your zoo has nice natural settings and you could get away with some of the shots as in the wild - but remove the eartag on no4

    Exif data should ideally be the original that one can pick up with Exif tool that says which lens, time of day etc as well as your hand-made additions; a matter of finding the preferences box that keeps it or ditches it when downsizing for web

    Actually, the exif data I took from the picture before i did any editing. But, since I just learned about it a day or so ago, I haven;t tried to get it while on the camera or anything, still learning as I go.

    Thanks for the comments, the goat pictures are my favs out of the group as well....never thought about the tag tho, good eye
