Have these been HDR's before B&W?
I find the contrast to be a little low. The shadows aren't as dark as I would have expected and I find it off putting.
Nice composition (except for the cycle mirror being too bright).

(wish I was there - and so does the wife (me that is, not her as well, Xmas tensions rising).

No Graham no HDR before black and white.
You mean you would like more contrast ? The mirror is too bright... I am afraid you are right...

    Hi,
WRT contrast. The whole image suggests it was a very bright day, wheras the shadow by the bike is a somewhat lower than I would expect. Ditto with the wall shadow down the RHS. Just feels not quite right, and that MAY be it, but I don't know.

I understand what you mean. Well, I think I do
I have previously worked the image on ACR.
I go and try another version.
    Some moments please

For me, and as always it's subjective, I prefer this shot as the people to the right are not as obvious allowing me to focus more on the lady to centre.

You did it again, Antonio! I really get the feeling of a third world country from your shots. I especially love the first shot. There is so much in it to look at but, it isn't busy; it is just darn interesting!
