Gimp Plugin Rule Of Thirds Guide

Found a cool plug-in for GIMP, that gives you a "Rule Of Thirds" guide to help in proper composition, I am sure I will be using it a lot . Just thought I would pass it along.

    Good on you.

But, if you choose crop and then in the crop dialogue pane (below the check box for highlight) there is a small window defaulted to 'No guides'. If you click on the drop down arrow at the side, do you not get offered the choice of 'No guides'; 'Center lines'; 'Rule of thirds'; 'Golden Sections'?

Just a different way to the same end.

You beat me to that answer Donald. Seems the easiest way of doing it actually.

Thank you Donald, I did not see that. Gimp has a lot of stuff I don't know about.
Hopefully I will get my photos composed right in the camera first.
