    And why not?

That spot just behind his head. Maybe been better without it there? But still a clever way of making the image. Would have been easy to just put it against a plain background. This set up makes the whole thing much more lively and vibrant.

You know - I didn't even realise that it was there! Thanks for point that out - I might try and touch it up.

Just got my 50mm 1.8 and was having a play with the Christmas tree lights as the background. I'll have to stop the random lights pattern next time though.

I think he wants this poster size for his room or maybe to sell to his friends. Hey, Christmas present idea!

Very fun way to bring family together. Funny thing, that's how my son got bitten by the camera bug. Taking pictures of a bunch of his Lego creations and action figures posed for battle for him got him interested in how it all works. Now for Christmas he will be the proud owner of his own Canon 10D & 50mm 1.4

Very true. Mine is in the process of enjoying taking photos but actually makes movies from the photos he makes - it's quite entertaining him to watch him work. In a few years time he might take more of an interest in photography.

You're son's a lucky lad getting the Canon and the 1.4 for Christmas!

Nowadays it's getting harder to find a hobby that we can share with our kids so to be able to share such a rewarding hobby as ours it's a blessing. When I get my 24-105 f/4L he'll inherit my 28-135 too
