Aaaww!
Well lit. You've got good definition into the figure. But, sorry, don't think I've met him.
I have glimpsed this guy from time to time throughout my life.
He comes around only once a year, every year. 'Twas always the night before Christmas, as I recall, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring… not even a mouse!
The guy enters my house like some commando swat team, through the roof. Always under cover of darkness, shadow, low ISO with no strobe, when the computer (with Photoshop up) is asleep, and wearing a camouflage red nomax body suit. He’s usually quite jovial acting (probably hit the egg nog a bit too hard!).
But every year, once a year, he does the same strange thing. I think he is trying to tell me something, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out.
Every year, once a year, he leaves me a lump of coal!
Nice lighting Brian.
That's so sad!
LOL@Terry
You know, looking at this again today, I think I was too focused on the red flash/background that I didn't pay enough attention to shadows on Santa - just a touch of fill on his back side might have been good. Also, perhaps the tree is a little too underexposed.
Ho Ho Ho!
Baaahhhh humbug! :d
Brian, what wireless trigger are you using?
Hi Chriss, in this case I was using my 60D in commander mode with a 580ex II flash for lighting Santa's face and YN-560 optical slave mode for the red gel on the background.
And Thanksgiving has yet to start!
Yea I know him. Still trying to pay for last year visit![]()
LOL@Paul
Yes, I haven't tried it outside, but it works great indoors with my canon flashes.
