Good capture, but a very repelling countenance, especially compared to the enchanting man in the turban.
No, no António, you misunderstand. The image is great.
It's just that the guy gives me the creeps—which is good. You got him.
Viana, thank you man !
The equipment has an important part on the quality of the pictures. However, a middle range equipment can - in the right hands - make a good work.
I use Canon. I keep thinking that it should have been Nikon but now that I have so much from Canon I am not going to change.
Canon 20D + Canon 5D old model + Canon G9 + 380 EX flash + 450 EX flash + Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 + Canon 24-79 f/2.8 + Canon 70-200 f/2.8 + Canon 1,4 multiplier + NDF 4* + CPF + basic Canon timer.
In India I used the 20D with the 24-70 and the 5D with the 16-35.
I love wide aperture lens which I think are an important atribute. I miss a camera with capabilities of large ISO without noise. The weight is a pain. The 70-200 is superb for portraits ! I missed it.
And you what have you got ?
Remember: if you Oh and I was forgetting what I have and is crucial - crucial - for good images: Mac 27" with 4 processors and bla, bla, bla, LR and CS5. And I spend days in front of it !
Continuing: if you fail your images when you shoot do not blame the camera, blame yourself.
