    Play a duet with me

Some of you have seen a BW version of this before. I thought I'd try colour. It's a stacked set of five images shot on black perspex. I then put a solid black layer on top in CS5 and drew an elliptical marquee shape and feathered it and erased (eraser tool) the selected elliptical area. It looks like a strong vignette, but it has worked better than the normal method, I think.

    Rob,
I remember it in B&W but i like it better in color. Still a great image.

Thanks, Sam. This was the previous one Themed Photo Challenge #14: Music

I think this one is better because when you have a subject coming in and going out of the frame like this it can look a bit abrupt and cut off. The vignetting sort of softens that effect. It also demonstrates that you need to keep your RAW files for future reprocessing.

Hi Rob, the reflection and vignette bring a whole new viewing experience to a familiar object. Well done!

The colours are beautiful, and I love the vignette effect.
