Metadata/exif .

Can anyone advise me on how to amend my exif/metadata to include my name postcode etc . .is this possible and can i do it on my Canon 6oo D ive looked in my menu but its not helping me .

Hi Mike,

You can add your name "in camera" by using the EOS Utility, but for more extensive metadata you need to do it in post processing. I add mine automatically when Bridge converts the RAW file to DNG.

For obvious security reasons I wouldn't add my postcode. Break and enter

If you use Lightroom you can minimize your metadata if you go to export then down to metadata there is a box you can turn on and Lightroom will keep any copyright information in the metadata but it’ll remove all of the camera-related stuff.
