    After Dark

I was driving home at dusk the other night and saw the mist in the fields. I stopped and took this shot almost needing a flashlight (a torch to most of you all) to set up.

I'm happy with it. Any and all thoughts are welcome.

Hi Reed. I'm afraid there's no subject in this frame. Everything seems remote and distant.

I find this image eerie. Good timing as we get closer to Halloween in the US. There looks to be a spot in front of the trees on the left. I guess at tighter focus on one of the tombstone might be a thought but I still find it to be a nice image.

Yes but I suspect that a bit of cropping from the right edge would concentrate things much better.

This was taken almost 45 min. past sunset. I was driving home and saw the mist laying on the ground. The first place I had to try a shot was this little graveyard. I took a couple on the back side of the cemetery but I realized I need some foreground.

Thanks for the comments. Yep, I think a little tighter crop is better.

Hi Reed, is it a bit light (as in cheerful) for the somber mood the mist and graveyard invokes?

You're right Frank, it is a bit bright. I was trying bring the forground up because it was real dark and I got carried away.

    Thanks
