    More egret spam

Taken the day after the other series. Was hoping to catch them closer then the 100-150mm shots but my timing was probably wrong.

    5. The egret seemed to know that the guy was fishing and would probably let him have his catch. Quite daring of him as they normally like to keep their distance.

Interesting and well processed series (as usual) Bobo,

My only thought was the 'unexplained' reflected bright colours in the last two - I'm sure there's a good reason, but presented out of context, they fight for attention with the subject - well, they do for me

    Cheers,

    Thanks Dave.

Yes agree about the last 2 but thought the clash of colours might be interesting so pulled up their saturation. Actually the colours are very muted in the original. In 4 those are reflections of buildings hit by the evening sun. In 5, the orange are evening sun reflections coming through the gaps between some bridge supports in the distance. The white shafts are reflections off the side of the bridge supports.

Will reprocess and see how they come out. Might even help with the white bird which is very close to blowing in 4.

I somehow like the colours in de #4 picture. I originally thought they were the reflections of trees in full autumn colour. But I agree with Dave on the last one.

Nice series Bobo, as Dave said, well processed especially the single egrets.
