    Rivers and reflections

I really liked the reflections I was getting with this smooth stretch of water. All C&C welcome.
    Rivers and reflections

I took a longer view for this one

and then dropped a bit lower for this one.
    Rivers and reflections

Then I went a bit further back for a long shot of the river

    Re: Rivers and reflections

Hi Philip, I like them all but the last one is in a class of it's own. For # 2 & 3 you would usually want something close to the lens to add depth but I don't think it would be needed in this case.

Take # 3, view it upside-down, and see what you think about the tricks your mind will play with the subtle ripples in an otherwise perfect glass reflection.

Thanks Frank. That is a really neat trick for #3 - for me the result looks more like a painting than a photo. Fascinating - I like it!

Philip: I like them all, but prefer #'s 1 and 4 above the other 2. Wish I could find some
water that would stay that still..
