Photographs as lampshades
This week a friend who specialises in extra large panoramic prints (10 ft or more long) had an exhibition and one new item was printed lampshades.
He prints his panoramic productions onto vinyl which is then covered in a protective film. It is then bent into a circle and the ends fixed together.
Then simply attach to a table lamp holder. Looks most impressive.
I didn't press him for the exact details of his methods but thought some of you who are looking for something new to try might be interested in the idea.

Re: Photographs as lampshades
A fine idea.
One primary purpose of what we do is to, hopefully, have others look at what we produce. If that happens to be in the form of a lampshade, the fine.
