Nice image! Hoping for your sake the serpent was in a terrarium or something. If not I may accuse you of being bravely insane or insanely brave.

Re: Can you see me .... I see you
lol ... yes he was in an enclosure at the local zoo. I was pleasantly surprised at the clarity since the glass enclosure was smudged and scratched.
Several people were startled by him. It was easy enough to see his body, rather large and short. They would lean down to find his face and then notice him staring at them.

I knew a fellow mid-westerner couldn't be that crazy! Nonetheless, it was a good result.

WOW! A great capture... Nice PoV.
But just to add my 2 cents, it took me sometime to find what was there to see in the image (the snake)
So you probably gotta make it more prominent.. Little dodging or burning or something...
Nice shot, again.

Errr, I just saw that your title talks about camouflage which shows pretty well in this shot.

yep, capturing the camouflage was part of the intent. I think the horn adds to the camouflage, as you are looking for a "normal" snake and somehow just miss his head, and the eyes line up nice with the stripe on his body.
