EOS 60D style settings
Do the Picture Style and Auto Lighting Optimizer settings actually affect a RAW file? I thought I had read somewhere that those settings only affect how the camera produces in-camera JPEGS and provide hints to DPP for a starting point, but the RAW file itself is purely sensor data no matter what.
I shoot RAW only and I'm wondering if I really need to modify those. The manual is not clear so I'm hoping someone can enlighten me. Thanks.

Re: EOS 60D style settings
According to page 298 of my Manual, Picture Style and Auto Lighting Optimizer can be applied to RAW files during in camera Post Processing.
I take that to mean that they are not applied automatically.
