First B&W Portrait and PS experiment

    Hi,

This was a casual shot of my girlfriend while she was hanging around the house. I snapped the moment she turned her eyes out to the window... As I liked a lot this photo, I converted it to B&W and tried to readjust a bit of the lightning in Photoshop.

Here's the result... please feel free to point out whatever seems wrong, especially with the editing as I'm only working with Photoshop for a week

I'm thinking about printing it A4 to offer her, so any help will be great!

First B&W Portrait and PS experiment

    Cheers,

Not bad at all for a 'casual' shot.
I wonder if it would look better were she looking at you though
    What was the light source(s)?
You might consider a brighter exposure.

Actually it couldn't been more casual I was just laying in the couch and experimenting with the camera and shooting almost randomly at her

The light came from two windows in front of her and one on the right. Mainly diffused light from the walls of the buildings around I guess. It was a bright sunny day though.

I'll try to brighten up a bit the photo then. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Cheers

Hmmmmm... Pedro, right now it is SO casual that all that is being displayed is a logo where I would expect to see a photo. Now that's casual! LOL! You may need to link it again or use Tinypic to upload.
