Jiro did you use velvet for the bottom. I have been told velvet won't show any type of reflections at all. I like it.
Hello, Sam. Yes, that's the black velvet fabric I used as my "ground." it will still show some reflection from the fibers but only minimal. If I will just put the shell on a black background, it won't show any realism to it that's why I decided to preserve some of the texture of the fabric. I'm glad you like this one.![]()
JIRO, Nice work...,I do not see any mistake. if the fabric is not the object. the exposure that you have snap out excellent, any body who have not seen a shell easily can get the picture of it .it is important .... not the fabric. if you want a solution for fabric you can do the same thing what you have done to the chopstick.is in it?
