    The solitary donkey

Recently, after one hour walk, looking for vestiges of an old castle without any surrounding houses, I discovered this donkey apparently happy to have a visitor. I hope that this pictures translates the feeling that I had with this meeting.

Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

I like it, Thierry. Nice details on the donkey and the strong contrast between him and the surrounding. I wonder how a very slight vignette would work on this shot? Just a thought. I forgot, good composition, too!

thanks for your comment Willie. As suggested here is an updated version with a vignetting

I had to ask, the donkey had a look of mischief in his eyes.

You are right John. He was very interested by this blackbox clicking regularly and came up to me after few minutes

I like this one better. it makes me concentrate more on the donkey though both images are very fine with me. Nice work, Thierry.

Hi Thierry, I like this one with the vignetting best. I also like the fact that dispite the increased shadow in the corners, your watermark doesn't detract from the image.
