    Hi Harald,

My suggestion would be to use the latest version of the DNG converter (v6.4), and then change the compatability level in preferences. Adobe list compatability by ACR version - not DNG spec version - but I'm guessing that v1.2 would probably be 2nd or 3rd from the latest.

I'm assuming you want to stick with the older v1.2 spec for compatability with an older version of software?

    Hello Colin,

I wanna use the Phase One Capture One 5.2.1 Raw Converter (which can use DNG1.2) with converted Raw-Files from my SIGMA SD14.

    Thanks,
    Harald

    Hi Harold,

My suggestion would be to just test the various outputs from DNG converter 6.4 - it's all free.

    Hi Colin,

whatever option I tried - I was unable to produce a DNG-File that Capture One accept as a valid RAW file. The documentation says that it accepts DNG version 1.2. Any more idea what I can try?

    Thanks,
    Harald

Eek. Not really - did you also try v1.1 available under the custom option?

Out of curiocity, just wondering why you have your heart set on using Capture One? (I didn't like it much when I tried it).

    Hi Colin,

yes I tried also V1.1 - with and without compression, with and without mosaic - with and without embedded preview. I couldn't make Capture One identify the DNGs as a raw file. So I have to stay with the software SIGMA has programed to handle their raw-files ;-)

    Thanks for your help,
    Harald

Is using good old Photoshop or Photoshop Express an option?
