An issue which can't be ducked. Its eider one thing or the other

Saw this pair by a pond in a park whilst up at another town shopping ( me, that is, not the ducks! And as they seemed pretty used to people around them I paused for a few shots. It was around lunch time and I was getting a bit hungry. Being away from home, Take Away fare was on the menu for me. Anyway, the ducks were slowly waddling around, so I tried to get them to move a little faster that I might get some 'action' shots; and then nick off for some lunch. It was a case of "Ken ducky tried quicken." (With apologies for that one! )

Nice shots Ken. Are these as the title suggests Eider ducks? I like the first and the last one. They make such a nice couple and in the first I wonder what they are communicating to each other.

The ducks in the first one are nicely uncluttered by background 'stuff' (grasses, stonework). A good one.

Ken, I saw this, last night, after the umpteenth time trying to download photos into LR (I've pushed some nonsensical button, apparently). Point is, I like the photos but - I needed the laugh - er, badly! Then, I was speechless - couldn't think of how to respond and, here I am, making a hash of it but, thank you!

Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my post. Glad you had a laugh. Someone when they saw the photo asked how I found these ducks. I was tempted to say, "delicious!" However I thought I had better not. Can't be too careful about these things. Vegans can turn quite nasty when provoked, even if you are only taking the mickey!

I share your misery Ma'am. I am currently ploughing through the Lightbook Manual which I downloaded. It is very tedious and very hard going. Not the easiest of reads and hardly a Mills and Boon Bodice ripping saga!
