Thanks, Joanne. Well, I think it concludes that I am really weird then.

Yet another winner, carrying on from your earlier post with the rusty hook. Really good work with the lighting effect to bring out highlights and shadows. Just a question. How does the patina of the bottom metal band show up if lightened slightly? I feel as if I would like to see just a bit more of the detaii/colour patterns of its surface. However I realize that, from my past experiences, that sometimes putting more light on these things often spoils the visual effect by losing their character. Not a criticism of your post. Just a question based on curiosity, such as " I wonder how it would go if I ......." Nice work Willie

Mary... or Lucy... either is fine with me. ;)

The colors and textures of old weathered things are something that I love. Your image captures them both. You have such a good eye, Willie. You see things that I would stop and look at... but not think to photograph. Thanks for making me think and really opening my eyes and 'looking' at what's around me.
