Oh Wow!

Truly beautiful. The catch lights in the eyes and even the nose! The eye contact is amazing and the closeness goes without saying. Beautifully blurred background...it really is just beautiful, Steve.

Great Capture Steve, My eyes are drawn to the ears, the lighting makes tham almost transparent,
great detail, very clear![]()
You must have incredible reflexes Steve. Well done!

I love the bokeh and the glow around the ears and the hairs on its chinny, chin, chin. It's wonderful!
Your series on the deers and fawns are quite beautiful. I love the lighting, the expressions of the animals and just about everything about these lovely images...
Steve, this has to be one of your best (and that is saying something) It has captured the intensity of its natural caution beautifully. The only blemish on perfection for me is the area of dayglo green to his/her right flank. A wee bit of cloning and I think you do have perfection.
Stunning shot, amazing reflexes......are you a Ninja by chance?![]()
An excellent study which is definitely a keeper, first class with honours. Can't add much more other than to concur with what has already been said above. Okay, just one small point if I may. It was such an eye catching shot of the deer that I had to go back for a third look before I really began to take note of the "dayglo green blemish." So, I guess in the overall scheme of things, it didn't seem to bother me all that much. In fact the more I look at it the more I reckon that the 'green blobs,' for want of a better description, on both flanks of the deer add some textural interest and lift to the background but have enough brokeh to stop them intruding. Very nice study Steve.

This is truly lovely Steve, your shots of the deer should be on a revolving screen saver in my head, for use in any times of trouble to relax and calm..
