Yeah!!! I like light shining through petals and leaves. And I also have some photos I've shot from behind the flower and some people have said "why did you take the picture from the back?"...Another reason I am thankful I found this site....I really like the way the sepals came out (is that right? the bud leaves?) Plus, my father used to plant sunflowers...Beautiful photo...
Thanks, Henry.![]()
Stunning image Willie. The detail in the flower mixed with the surreal background of the lighter areas shining down on the flower isNever a bad image i will see from you (unless it's intentional). Thanks for sharing...Ron
Thank you very much for the compliment, Ron.![]()

Nice use of backlighting willie. I like the unusual angle as well.
Jiro, I wsh I had your talent.... Both in Photography and PP.
I haven't seen any sunflowers yet in my part of Texas - but then again, it's so hot and dry that even the weeds in my yard are dying-

One thing that I can honestly tell you, Kris is that this kind of talent can be learned and developed. I am very glad that I can share whatever I have with you all here at CiC as much as I can and until I can.![]()
It does tell a pleasant story of a summery evening! The back of the sunflower being almost, basically, silhouetted like that makes it almost look like it is a little sun looking back- very lovely!
Thanks for dropping by, Katy.![]()
Very nice!
It has the a nice coloured backround and object itself displays beautifuly...
Thanks a lot, jappe.
WOW!
Another awesome from you, Jiro.
Love the details & bokeh in this.
Many Thanks, Sahil. I was actually surprised by the bokeh at this setting on this lens. I might explore this kind of shots further.![]()
