    Roses for remembrance

Please C&C. I put this post here because this picture has made me make only very delicate changes. I think it is a bit under exposed, but would rather have it this way than a garish orange. Please tell me what you think.

    As always, thanks for looking.

    Hi Marie,

The only critique I have of this photograph would be the top left background, and maybe the angle of the shot. Otherwise I like the colours mate.

I'd maybe reshoot it a bit straighter on. If that makes sense.

Marie, They are beautiful, Personally I like flower shots that are a bit underexposed. I think it's creative preference.. I think you did an excellent job !

I would if I could, but I cannot. This picture was taken at an event I shot the past 3 days. I will keep what you have said for a future opportunity.

Thanks, Shannon for your commentary. I am so glad for the people here at C&C.

Nice shot Marie and I agree with Mark on the background. Given the background is on one colour tone you might be able to easily select it and alter the hue or reduce the intensity so it does not compete with the beautful flowers. I do like the slightly underexposed result you have achieved.

In my experience, it is actually wise to under-expose these shots a little; it is oh-so-easy to blow a colour channel if you are not careful and check the RGB histogram.

As others have said, a very nice shot.
