Just like to share a recent photo of my dog Suzie, like me she's getting on a bit.
This is from a handful of tentative shots taken with my first DSLR, a new EOS 550D. After a 'Point and Shoot' its taking a little time to adjust, but I'm getting there slowly.

You're getting there all right, Mike. It's nice that you tilted the shot a little to the right, it made the shot less stationary. Good expression also on her face. Just a little sharpening on the eyes will make her more lively. Good shot and nice dog. Congrats.
