Just for something I found unusual and thought worth a shot. Unfortunately the 'good' camera stays home on work outings. So, had to rely on the old Fujis which we take with us when out working in the paddocks.
'Whilst out splitting some fire wood, in a' fiddleback' grained piece of yellow box ( Eucalyptus melliodora) I came face to face with this tree spirit! So, maybe the Druids were on to something all along? (pix#1, Pix #2 has been included just to show the block I was splitting at the time.) For C&C please.

Thank you. We have a bit of it here and it is very hard to spit. But it burns well and has a very high BTU.
